Halfway Through The Woods

About Us
Our Journey
Halfway Through the Woods is an organization that provides effective therapeutic services to young adults with complex trauma. Using an integrated approach, Halfway Through the Woods uses a combination of evidence-based and science-backed therapeutic approaches, wellness and the creative arts, and focuses strongly on community building and ethical long-term relationship building in order to foster a healthy continuum of care and an unshakeable sense of belonging among the youth.
About the Founder
Our therapeutic space will be bold, brave, and supportive. I aim to strike a balance of validating feelings of fragility or fear with a genuine belief in the potential to heal. Maybe you’ve been called “too much” or can’t quite carve the life and relationships that you want, despite an inner knowingness of your innate goodness and loving nature. It may at times feel hopeless, but I say there is hope here!
With a background in attachment theory and acute training working with children and families dealing with Reactive Attachment Disorder, I welcome these big and often overwhelming feelings from clients with a longstanding history of symptoms and trauma; especially those who have not yet found the relief they have been looking for.
In our therapeutic time together, you may find yourself expanding your awareness of what you thought you knew, further empowering you to emotionally recover from what it is you have already survived.
